LLYN’s story began with a small crystal shared between two friends from different cultures. During her school years, Lin tasted this crystal candy with her Japanese friend. With its elegance and fragility, it offered not just a new flavour but a ritual.

Years later, in a traditional Kyoto kitchen, she relived that memory and discovered the thousand-year history of these crystals and how flavours can turn into emotions. When Lin returned to Dubai, that cultural heritage took on a modern brand identity: LLYN.

LLYN’s crystals are inspired by centuries-old Japanese sweet-making traditions and reinterpreted through a contemporary aesthetic. Each crystal is entirely handmade and vegan. Colours are chosen by intuition, shapes are cut with mastery, and every piece is unique.

Avoiding mass production, each crystal is prepared with the care given to a work of art. As you hear it crack, you savour a story that connects past and present.
